A New Molecule May Make Cavities A Thing of the Past

Dentists may want to make note of a new molecule called Keep 32. It’s called that because the molecule seems to have the capabilities to help you keep all 32 of your teeth in your mouth and potentially make cavities — and maybe dentists — a thing of the past.

The chemical was designed by scientists in Chile who seemingly have a vendetta against 
dentists
 bacteria. In laboratory tests, Keep 32 was able to wipe out all the bacteria that cause cavities in about 60 seconds. The molecule targets the bacteria known as streptococcus mutans, which keeps dentists in business by turning sugar into lactic acid, which in turn erodes tooth enamel. Once the streptococcus mutans is eradicated, mouths stay cavity-proof for several hours.

The world's shortest man

Chandra Bahadur Dangi, 72, who says he's only 22 inches tall, arrives at the airport in Katmandu, Nepal, on Feb. 22, 2012, hoping to prove to Guinness World Records officials he's the world's shortest man.

A 72-year-old Nepalese man is on a mission to snag the Guinness World Record for shortest man on Earth.

Chandra Bahadur Dangi, of western Nepal, claims to be just 22 inches tall, which is an inch and a half shorter than the current record holder, the Associated Press reports. Junrey Balawing of the Philippines was crowned world’s shortest on his 18th birthday last June. But now, Dangi hopes to prove the title belongs to him.

The original dam consists of a platform, a bridge, and a gallery while the project sees all those things merged together and allow the visitors interact with the river via containers. The project also provides a vertical aquarium built-in 700-meter foot tower that hangs into Black Canyon.

 Flat Tower is the project by Yoann Mescam, Paul-Eric Schirr-Bonnans, and Xavier Schirr-Bonnans from France that took the second place in eVolo Skyscraper Competition. In order to preserve the sky-line in a middle-size city but at the same time present the solution for high-density cities French architects went for an unconventional skyscraper that they called “Flat Tower” mainly because of it round flattened form. Beside the ability to accommodate large number of residents Flat Tower’s surface is perfect for collecting solar energy and rainwater.
